CTET Feb 2016: The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the 9th Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 21.02.2016 (Sunday) for candidates to be eligible for appointment as teacher for Class I to VIII. The online application submission process started today for CTET 2016 Feb attempt. Candidates can apply On-line for CTET February 2016 through CTET official website – www.ctet.nic.in only. The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi.
CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST – CTET Feb 2016
The application for CTET – FEB 2016 has been made completely online with the facility to upload latest photograph and signature of the applicant. The particulars will be filled online and the scanned images of latest photograph and signature (in JPG format only) will be uploaded at the time of filling the application form.
The candidates are advised to keep the scanned images of latest photograph and signature of the candidates ready in JPG format before applying online.
The candidate should satisfy his/her eligibility before applying and shall be personally responsible in case he/she is not eligible to apply as per the given eligibility criteria.
CTET Feb 2016 Important Dates:
- Online Submission of application from 04.12.2015 to 28.12.2015
- Last date for submission of fee 29.12.2015 (till 3:30 PM)
- Check the Final status of application from 30.12.2015
- Period for Online Corrections in Particulars from 30.12.2015 to 04.01.2016

The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the Administrative Control of UT of Chandigarh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and NCT of Delhi.
CTET Pattern of Examination:
The CTET examination will be of objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQs). There will be no negative marking. There will be 2 papers of CTET.
(i) Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
(ii) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
