About Board of Secondary Education of Andhra Pradesh (bseap.org):

‘Board of Secondary Education of Andhra Pradesh’ also known as the Directorate of Government Examinations. BSEAP was established in 1953 and functions as an autonomous body under the AP State Govt. Department “Andhra Pradesh Department of Education”.

Directorate of Government Examinations (AP SSC Board) is an independent department functioning under ministry of secondary education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The department is responsible for conducting the SSC/OSSC Public Examinations.

The BSEAP regulates and supervises the system of Secondary education in Andhra Pradesh State. BSEAP executes and governs various activities that include devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting examinations, granting recognition’s to schools and, providing direction, support and leadership for all secondary educational institutions under its jurisdiction.
